The FM150 Flail Mower is the perfect tool for the tackling heavy weed removal, cutting back rushes & general paddock mowing & maintenance on farms, smallholdings & estates. With its 1.5m cutting width, the FM150 Flail mower is a self-powered atv flail mower suitable for towing behind any vehicle, and is the perfect machine for paddock & field maintenance, with the ability to shred almost any material.

The Chapman FM150 Flail Mower is designed from the outset to tackle tough mowing tasks including mowing on rough, wet & boggy ground where a heavier mounted unit could become stuck. The combination of a lightweight towing vehicle such as an ATV, UTV or 4x4, and the low weight of the FM150 in comparison to alternative flail mower options such as mounted units, allows the toughest tasks to be tackled with ease. Built to be exceptionally tough, yet have a low ground pressure for easy towing, the FM150 Flail Mower can go where other machines may falter.

The compact design of the flail topper keeps the mass low to the ground for stability, and allows cutting easily beneath trees and overhanging branches. Comes with a 21hp Honda GX630 v-twin petrol engine with electric start. The optional break bar helps tackle heavy material, whilst the optional rear skirt prevents foreign objects being ejected - ideal for cutting road verges or close to buildings. All machines are fitted with a rear roller & centrifugal clutch as standard - features which are optional on inferior brands, to ensure your machine lasts longer and works harder for you.

The electric start makes the FM150 flail mower even easier to use, with remote start, throttle & choke controls. On the Honda engine units, this is combined with the Honda oil-alert system ensures that the engies is running with enough oil to prevent overheating and damage, shutting the engine down automatically in the event of lack of oil to prevent engine damage.

All mowers in the FM150 range are fitted as standard with a centrifugal clutch, allowing for safe & efficient operation from the towing machine. The use of a centrifugal clutch allows easy drive engagement, and acts as an overrun clutch & engine protection should an obstruction be encountered, ensuring your machine & engine will last for years of trouble-free service. Heavy-duty 'b' type drive belts last longer and are more efficient than smaller units used on competing machines.

Our innovative drive belt self-tensioning system removes the need for continual belt tensioning, and automatically compensates for belt wear.

Made from heavy-duty profiled 4mm EN43A Plate and 8mm EN43 laser cut plate, the FM150 is built to last. All bearings are fitted outside the flail mower deck for ease of maintenance & replacement & feature integral grease points which can easily be accessed without having to remove covers.

Two high quality & heavy duty 'B' type drive belts transfer drive from the centrifugal clutch to the precision machined & balanced flail rotor where the 80 grass / general use makes short work of mowing tasks.

Finally, the FM150 Flail Mower is shot blasted, zinc coated and powder-finished to keep rust at bay, maintaining your investment and ensuring a good used equipment market value.
